Serendip: a Tool for Scalable Reading

The Early Modern Colloquium of the Northwetern Unversity English Department invites Eric Alexander (University of Wisconsin) to demonstrate Serendip, a tool for "visually exploring topic models generated on large corpora of documents."

This presentation will demonstrate how Serendip can bring insights to large text projects, including those focused on the Early Modern Era of English print.  Northwestern remains heavily involved in creating, tagging, improving text corpora though initiatves such as the EarlyPrint project, and Engineering English.
