Topics in STEMinism CIRTLCast: Women in STEM Careers Panel

Women and people of color remain underrepresented in many STEM fields, despite some efforts over the last few decades to broaden participation in these fields. The Topics in STEMinism series examines the various ways in which social and cultural contexts shape the experiences of women in male-dominated STEM fields. Join other Northwestern graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, faculty, and staff on-campus as we participate in this series organized by the CIRTL Network. In each week of this CIRTLCast series, we discuss the unique challenges faced by women in their educational and career trajectories.

On October 18, We will hear from women in STEM at various stages of their careers. They will discuss their disciplinary interests, their workplace environments, and advice for other women in STEM. CIRTLCasts are on Wednesdays from 1-2pm, and will be followed by a short discussion led by Northwestern faculty or staff.

If you are unable to join us in person, you are welcome to register for the online event for free and attend on your own.
