Faculty Workshop - Encouraging Risk and Failure in Learning

Not surprising, we often focus on helping our students succeed. However, research
has long suggested that giving students the space, time and permission
to take risk and try new ideas consistently leads to deeper learning, enhanced
creativity, and improved critical thinking. In this interactive session, we
will explore methods used by faculty in different disciplines to help their
students learn to take risk, and to fail.
