Inclusive Teaching Forum 2019: Inclusion at the Intersection

The third annual Inclusive Teaching Forum (ITF) will be held on February 13, 2019, at Norris University Center on Evanston Campus (8:30 AM - 4:00 PM). The forum is designed to help educators at Northwestern (faculty, doctoral students, postdocs, staff, and administrators) to collectively advance equitable and inclusive learning and teaching environments across the university. The ITF is a day-long experience which a lunchtime plenary on intersectionality, and two small group discussion sessions aimed at fostering inclusive learning environments.

ITF participants will:

-Explore intersectionality and its impact in learning and teaching contexts;

-Engage critically with case studies to explore authentic student experiences and 
 their impact;

-Engage in discussions around promising practices for inclusive teaching and
  learning;

-Continue to foster a culture of inclusive teaching practice.
