Northwestern Buffett Fireside Chat with Christian Madsbjerg

Christian Madsbjerg is a professor of applied humanities at The New School for Social Research and co-founder of ReD Associates, a consultancy dedicated to humanizing business strategy through the social sciences.

Based on his work with some of the world's largest companies, including Ford, Adidas and Chanel, Christian's latest book Sensemaking: The Power of the Humanities in the Age of the Algorithm is a provocative stand against the tyranny of algorithms and an urgent defense of human intelligence.

Please join us for a Fireside Chat with Christian on December 6 from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. CT in the Northwestern Buffett event space and learn what can be achieved when "sensemaking" that draws from culture, language and history is applied to some of the world's most vexing challenges.
