Join us for this special Virtual Masterclass with Ted Hope, whose films have garnered 12 Oscar nominations. Ted will discuss his experiences as an independent film producer (The Ice Storm, American Splendor, The Savages) and former co-head of Amazon Studios (Manchester by the Sea, Cold War, Beautiful Boy). Hope will share insightful stories and key takeaways about how to make better movies, create a sustainable career in the entertainment business, and navigate the new streaming Studio System. Co-moderated by Kyle Henry, Associate Professor, RTVF and Anthony Kaufman, Senior Programmer, Chicago International Film Festival an co-author with Ted of the new edition of Hope for Film.
