SPS Annual Graduate Research Conference
CONFERENCE (Saturday, 5/8- Online)
The conference will take place on Saturday, May 8.
CALL FOR PAPERS
If you are a Northwestern University SPS student or alum interested in presenting at the conference, please submit your proposal (a max of 300 words) to Amy Danzer (firstname.lastname@example.org) for consideration no later than 5pm on Monday, March 15. Notification of acceptance will occur by early April. Chosen presenters should expect to prepare a 15-minute presentation (7-8 pages) to be delivered in real time on Zoom at the conference in May. Presentations can include work from completed theses, theses-in-progress, papers from classes taken in the program, dissertation material, part of your book, etc. A successful proposal or presentation will have a clear, argumentative thesis and a cogent beginning, middle, and end. Time limits will be carefully enforced to ensure that all presenters have adequate time to speak.
