VentureCat 2020 will be held virtually. Please RSVP to receive details on joining us for the Public Showcase Livestream. The Showcase will feature the Finalist pitches, an Audience Favorite vote, award announcements and special guest Sam Shank, Kellogg ’04, Head of Hotels at Airbnb and CEO of HotelTonight. We look forward to supporting Northwestern’s most promising student-founded startups during this time!

VentureCat is Northwestern's annual student startup competition.
On May 20, 2020, up to 25 teams will compete in one of five tracks: Business Products and Services, Consumer Products and Services, Energy and Sustainability, Life Sciences and Medical Innovations, Social Enterprises and Nonprofits in private Semifinals, pitching to a panel of judges.
The first place teams in each track and one Wildcard team selected from the second place teams will pitch again to a panel of Finals judges in private sessions.
Finals teams will then share their pitches in our showcase event to compete for our audience vote prize, and we will also announce our Grand Prize winners. More details to come on the schedule of the event and special guests.
