Innovation in Teaching Series Presents Christine Ortiz

Please join us for the spring edition of the Innovation in Teaching Series on Thurs., May 4, 2017 at 12:00 pm, featuring a presentation on on the reinvention of the research institution with special guest, Christine Ortiz.

Christine Ortiz is a professor of materials science and engineering at MIT, and former dean for graduate education, who has taken leave in order to found a new residential research university. Her bold vision is to build a university centered around project-based learning radically different from existing university models. This bold vision aligns well with the goals of our Innovation in Teaching Series and we are delighted that Christine will visit us for the final event of the Academic Year as our Distinguished Visiting Academic Innovator.

Lunch will be served.
