Author Talk with Corbin Campbell on "Great College Teaching" featuring NU Faculty Panel

Please join us for an informal book talk with Corbin Campbell, Associate Dean of Academic Affairs and Associate Professor in the School of Education at American University, author of Great College Teaching: Where It Happens and How to Foster It Everywhere followed by an insightful and multi-disciplinary panel discussion featuring recent University Teaching Awards winners.

Campbell’s book draws from a multi-institutional observational study covering more than 700 higher education courses in a range of contexts to highlight where and how exemplary teaching is practiced in US higher education.

Following Campbell’s talk, the panelists will reflect on Campbell’s call for evidence and equity-based teaching practices and culturally responsive support for student learners. They will offer illustrations of their efforts to ensure a positive classroom dynamic in which all students can thrive in line with Northwestern’s Principles of Inclusive Teaching.
