Fulbright Specialist Program Information Session with Northwestern Faculty Alum

Interested in using your expertise to serve as an expert consultant and strengthen collaborations with overseas institutions? Faculty and senior administrators at Northwestern University are invited to join us for an in-depth look at the Fulbright Specialist Program!

A program of the U.S. Department of State Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, the Fulbright Specialist Program provides U.S. citizens who are established professionals or academics and possess expertise in qualifying disciplines with the opportunity to engage in short-term (two- to six-week) project-based exchanges at host institutions around the globe. This online information session will include an overview of the program, including topics such as:

• Eligibility requirements;

• Benefits for participating Specialists; and

• Application process.

Fulbright Specialist Program staff will answer attendee questions during this presentation, and you will also hear from Dr. Peter Locke, Associate Professor of Instruction at Northwestern and a 2022 Fulbright Specialist to Serbia, about his experience.

Northwestern’s Fulbright Week (April 10–14) offers faculty, students and staff opportunities to learn about Fulbright grants available for travel abroad to conduct research, carry out professional projects, study or teach, and how to maximize the odds of a successful grant application.
