Workshop Facilitators:

Hayley is a sixth-year PhD candidate in the Department of Biomedical Engineering. Her dissertation uses rat whiskers as a model to study the statistics of sensory data acquisition and tactile perception.

Sidra is a fifth-year PhD candidate in the Political Science department. Her research focuses on the distinction between “nuclear” and “non-nuclear” states and how this distinction is legally and socially-constructed through an examination of the cases of Iran, Israel, and India.
