Workshop Facilitators:

Elliot is a fifth-year PhD candidate in Plant Biology and Conservation. His specializes in evolution of flowering plants, and his dissertation focuses on pollination and domestication in the breadfruit genus (Artocarpus), a group of trees with a center of diversity in Borneo.

Katherine is a PhD candidate in Communication Sciences and Disorders, investigating what strategies listeners use in speech comprehension and how these behaviors change in difficult listening environments.

*STEM Workshops are part of CIRTL at Northwestern which serves graduate students and postdoctoral fellows to improve undergraduate learning in STEM.
