Incorporating Primary Literature into the STEM Classroom

Incorporating Primary Literature into the STEM Classroom

Introducing primary literature into the STEM classroom promotes critical thinking and facilitates applied understanding of discovery in STEM. In this workshop, we will discuss the importance of primary literature as a teaching tool. We will also develop strategies to (1) facilitate students' understanding of primary literature, and (2) stimulate discussion of primary literature in the STEM classroom.

Facilitated by Laura Shanahan (NUIN) and Jordan Nelson (Chemistry)
