New Faculty Learning Community
In this six-week cohort-based learning community, new faculty will discuss inclusive approaches to enhancing teaching, with particular focus on inclusive approaches to assessing student learning. The learning community will feature:
-Interdisciplinary discussions on assessment, especially as they relate to Northwestern students and learning contexts;
-Peer feedback and workshopping of participants’ plan for assessing student learning;
The community will meet every Thursday from February 4-March 11 for 80 mins from 12:30-1:50PM Central Time. The work will be primarily synchronous via Zoom with full group discussions, small group work, invited speakers as well as some asynchronous work. We envision a community of 15-20 participants.
